Who it’s for

For pain that lingers, and stress that builds.

Pain

  • Back and sciatica
  • Neck and shoulders
  • Knees and joints
  • Headaches

Stress

  • Tension you carry
  • Sleep
  • A racing mind
  • Stress-related digestion
Why five visits

A series, not a single visit.

Acupuncture is usually given as a series, because each visit builds on the one before. Five visits is a fair first trial — and a natural point for you and your acupuncturist to reassess together and decide what, if anything, comes next.

Common questions.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture needles are very fine — roughly the width of a hair, and nothing like the needle used for a shot or a blood draw. Many insertions aren’t felt at all; some bring a brief pinch or a dull, heavy sensation, and your acupuncturist adjusts if anything feels off. If needles make you nervous, say so when the office calls — your first visit can start gently.

Which package should I choose?

Choose New patient if this will be your first acupuncture visit with us — the package includes it. Choose Returning patient if you’ve already had acupuncture here. Not sure? Call the office and we’ll tell you.

Who will I see?

Your visits are with one of two licensed acupuncturists: Dr. Diana Mendoza Mccormick (LAc, DAOM) or Bernadette Mosquera (LAc). If you have a preference, mention it when the office calls to schedule.

Can I share my visits with a family member?

No. A package is for one patient — the visits can’t be shared or transferred.

What if I don’t use all five visits?

Packages are non-refundable, and all five visits need to be used within 3 months of purchase. If your schedule changes, call the office and we’ll help you find times that work.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Can I call instead?

Of course. Call the office at (954) 591-3772 — we’re happy to answer questions and help you get started.
