Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

A specialist focus on pain — sciatica, neck, back, and joints — within classical Chinese medicine integrated with modern clinical practice. Acupuncture, electroacupuncture, biopuncture, and herbal formulations, chosen for the pattern, not the label.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

One of the oldest medicines, TCM restores organ function, rebalances the body, boosts circulation, and lowers inflammation — treating the root of disease, not just the symptom.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine are core. We also offer biopuncture — homeopathic remedies injected into acupuncture points for acute and chronic pain.

Care comes from a team of acupuncturists — two with the doctorate in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (DAOM), Dr. Nazzar and Dr. Diana Mendoza Mccormick.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture needles placed along the meridians of a patient's back.
Acupuncture — needles at strategic points along meridians.

Fine needles at points along meridians tied to your organ systems restore the flow of qi(energy) and trigger the body’s own healing response.

Research shows it acts on the nervous system and releases endorphins — easing pain, acute or chronic.

Pain · acupuncture's most-studied application.

Pain is acupuncture’s most-studied use — and a top reason patients come here. Sciatica and nerve pain, neck and shoulder tension, low-back, and stubborn joints respond to needling that releases trigger points and restores circulation.

When pain won’t settle, electroacupuncture and biopuncture go further — paired with herbal formulas and Wei Laboratories pain patches so progress holds between visits.

Natural Allergy Therapy (NAT)
Practitioner's hand performing gentle muscle-testing on a patient's outstretched arm, soft daylight from a nearby window.
Muscle testing — biofeedback, not blood draws.

Gentle support for allergies, sensitivities, and immune balance.

A non-invasive approach to easing sensitivity to foods, environmental triggers, and chemicals. Inspired by NAET, it combines acupuncture, kinesiology, and energy medicine to improve tolerance.

How it works

Using muscle testing (biofeedback) and targeted acupuncture, we identify substances stressing the body, then stimulate points during controlled exposure so the nervous system “resets” its response over time.

What NAT may help with

  • Food sensitivities (gluten, dairy, sugar, etc.)
  • Seasonal allergies (pollen, grass)
  • Mold exposure
  • Environmental triggers (dust, pet dander)
  • Chemical sensitivities (fragrances, cleaning products)
  • Digestive discomfort related to food reactions
  • Skin issues such as eczema or hives

What to expect

Each personalized session typically includes:

  • Gentle muscle testing to identify sensitivities
  • Exposure to specific allergen samples
  • Acupuncture or acupressure along the spine and meridians
  • Post-session guidelines to support the clearing process

Sessions are relaxing; a series usually works best.

Our integrative approach

NAT pairs with functional medicine, nutrition, herbs, gut work, and advanced testing — targeting the root of sensitivities, not just symptoms, so the body becomes more resilient and less reactive.

Important:Natural Allergy Therapy is not a substitute for emergency medical care. Patients with severe or life-threatening allergies should continue to follow their physician’s guidance and carry prescribed emergency medication (such as epinephrine) when needed.
